3. Squid Games

You’ve probably been living under a rock if you haven’t heard of Squid Games yet. As a survival programme, Squid Game features violence, nerve-wracking moments, harrowing disclosures, and betrayals, but it’s the rare moments of friendship that make it stand out. No one can help but cheer them on when they try to work together as a team to complete a very terrifying game or when one competitor secretly helps another one with his task thanks to a ridiculous but life-saving technique.
No wonder this became a massive hit. It’s worth all the glory.

After her father’s death, Hong Cha-young (Jeon Yeo-been) takes over the practice and joins forces with Vincenzo and the other residents to battle Babel Group.
It is a crime thriller drama and it sticks to its genre strictly throughout all the episodes. It discards all the clichés that shows the protagonist losing in the beginning and winning at the end as Vincenzo keeps winning right from the first ten minutes of the first episode.
